T-Mobile has completed the world's first six-carrier aggregation call using sub-6 GHz spectrum on its live 5G production network.

Dish achieves simultaneous 5G CA for FDD spectrum

Dish, in partnership with Samsung and Qualcomm, has achieved simultaneous 5G 2x uplink and 4x downlink carrier aggregation (CA) for FDD spectrum.

The partners attained a 200 Mbps uplink peak speed with a mere 35 MHz of 5G spectrum. Additionally, the Dish 5G network demonstrated extraordinary downlink peak speeds of 1.3 Gbps – utilising only 75 MHz of 5G spectrum – across FDD bands n71, n70, and n66.

Ericsson achieves 5.7Gbps in world’s first 6CC data call

Ericsson has pushed the boundaries of 5G Carrier Aggregation by seamlessly integrating six component carriers (6CC) to achieve a record-breaking download speed of 5.7Gbps.

Nokia achieves the world’s first 5G SA carrier aggregation

Nokia can boast of another world-first as it successfully completes a carrier aggregation in a 5G standalone (SA) network environment.

The vendor partnered with Taiwan Mobile to combine spectrum in the 700MHz (n28) and 3500MHz (n78) bands in a New Radio Carrier Aggregation (NR CA) trial.
